Lower Energy, Lower CO2!
Over the past years, we’ve made significant strides in optimizing energy consumption and reducing CO₂ emissions:
📉 Energy & Emissions Snapshot:
- 2022: 2,043,382 kVAh → 799T CO₂
- 2023: 1,813,145 kVAh → 718T CO₂ (-10%)
- 2024: 1,489,790 kVAh → 589T CO₂ (-18%)
- 2025 (Projected): 1,263,000 kVAh → 505T CO₂ (-15%)
Our commitment to smarter energy management and upgraded systems has made these improvements possible.
Powering Up with Solar
In January 2023, we extended our photovoltaic (PV) system and thereby expanded our renewable energy capacity by installing a 90kW solar panel system. This investment helps power both J&C Pisani operations and Dewfresh production lines.
🔋 Here’s the impact so far:
- 2023: 160.5 kWh generated
- 2024: 169.5 kWh generated
This shift to solar power, initiated in 2010 with our first PV installation (a 21.5kW system), has helped us increase our dependence on renewable energy sources, advancing our sustainability goals.
Fuel Efficiency & Smarter Logistics
At Dewfresh, sustainability goes beyond production. Our eco-friendly logistics practices ensure every product reaches you with minimal environmental impact:

- Use of recyclable insulation in delivery vans to maintain low temperatures
- Refrigeration system powered by an independent energy source, lowering fuel consumption
- Lighter vehicles for better fuel efficiency and fewer emissions
- Optimized delivery routes to cut down on unnecessary travel, fuel usage, and traffic congestion
These measures ensure Dewfresh products arrive fresh—with a lower carbon footprint.
