Beyond Steak Fajita Tacos

Ingredients
  • 1½ cups of Beyond Steak®, frozen
  • 4 corn tortillas, lightly warmed in a pan
  • 1 green pepper, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup of pickled red onions, thinly sliced
  • ¼ cup of chipotle mayo
  • ½ cup of fresh coriander, roughly chopped
  • 1 lime, cut into quarters
  • Extra virgin olive oil, as needed
  • Kosher salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Spice up Taco Night with plant-based protein-fueled perfection! Try these Beyond Steak Fajita Tacos: juicy, flavourful, and ready in minutes.

  1. Preheat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat for 1 minute. Drizzle with olive oil and sear the Beyond Steak, stirring occasionally, until caramelised on all sides – about 5 minutes. Set aside.
  2. In the same pan, add the sliced peppers, season with salt and pepper, and cook until caramelised – about 2 minutes.
  3. Place the warmed tortillas on a serving platter. Spread each tortilla with about 1 tablespoon of chipotle mayo and divide the Beyond Steak evenly among them.
  4. Top each taco with 2–3 slices of green pepper and some pickled red onion. Garnish with a sprinkle of coriander and serve with a lime wedge.
